The Richard Mille RM19, often referred to as the “Ephemeral Flower,” symbolizes the fleeting nature of things—here for a moment, then gone in an instant. It also conveys the deeper meaning of learning to appreciate and cherish beautiful moments. If you think flowers are stationary, you are greatly mistaken. In this design, the RM factory has replicated the original with a magnolia flower placed at the 7 o’clock position. Five meticulously hand-carved and painted petals surround a flying tourbillon at the center of the flower. When you press the button at the 9 o’clock position, the magnolia flower gradually opens and closes, creating a dynamic, life-like beauty with each blooming and closing, much like the fleeting bloom of an ephemera. The watch features an imported movement, sapphire crystal, and an imported rubber strap.
